Community Services Consortium identifies housing instability as one of the greatest challenges in Linn, Benton and Lincoln counties. Without safe and affordable housing, all areas of people’s lives may be negatively affected. We assist individuals and families to keep their homes, if they already have them; or to get into safe housing if they are homeless. CSC Housing provides rental assistance programs to help.
For those who have fallen behind on their rent because of an emergency or loss of income, we offer rental assistance. Assistance may be for a one-time need or for a longer, transitional period, in which participants may work with staff on repairing damaged rental history, finding work, or other challenges. We also assist those who are facing an eviction and must relocate or who are homeless and have an immediate need for a security deposit or move-in costs to get back into permanent housing.
CSC Housing is proud of our two permanent support housing facilities in Lincoln County, Tern House and Pelican Place. Here individuals and families who have endured chronic homelessness, have found shelter and work directly with trained CSC housing case managers to develop a plan for independence.
